We are a team of experts in communication and social media. From January 2014, we work thanks to a partnership between Expo2015 Spa and Fondazione La Triennale di Milano.

EXPOTUBE

A short­videos story of the worldwide exhibition. Follow Expotube and discover Expo2015's world through events, live streaming, architectures and unique protagonists.

WHATSAPP

Expo2015 is a big container of events and activities. For this reason, we have created a Whatsapp service to quickly inform visitors about what happens every day within the exhibition site. Discover it!

PERISCOPE

Periscope is the new Twitter App for live streaming with smartphone. With this channel, we promote Expo2015 and Participants initiatives, making some live recordings of events inside the Exposition.

SPOTIFY

Expo2015 is music! During some events, we asked Twitter users to share songs linked with the topic of the event. Some of the many proposals have been collected in musical playlists, on our Spotify profile.

#MYWALL

The project #MYWALL stars as a personal collection of materials (paper but not only), gathered inside Expo2015 exhibition site and pinned on a wall located on the first floor of the Media Center.

The social address book of Expo2015’s participants: let’s meet Countries, NGO, Partners and Sponsors of the big worldwide event!

NOT ONLY SOCIAL: PARTICIPANTS' NETWORK

Expo2015 is the first international event 100% Social Media. For this reason we created a network of relationships with the Social Media Managers of Participants Countries, in order to promote on our channels all the events organized by each Pavilion.

NATIONAL DAYS

Expo2015 is an international event where many Countries take part showing their customs, traditions and their culinary culture. For this reason, Expo2015 celebrates each Participants through a dedicated day full of events, shows and initiatives and we promote them with the following format called National Day.

SOCIAL MEDIA HUB

Expo2015 Social Media Hub is a great multi-channel wall that brings all the main players of World’s Fair in the spotlight. Over 200 accounts interacting in synergy with the community.

SOCIAL MEDIA DAY

Expo2015 is the first international event 100% Social Media. For this reason we created some Press Tour of the exhibition site totally dedicated to particularly influential people on web, both national and international. Discover Expo2015 through the eyes of bloggers and web influencers.

#FESTE

Nutrition is the main theme of Expo2015: during the Exposition some of the most eaten foods in the world are celebrated, from milk to bread, until the ice cream. Each celebration is followed on our Official Account on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, each one with a specific hashtag.

TO DO EXPO2015

TODOEXPO2015 is the official to-do list of Expo2015: pavilions, foods, performances and much more! We searched, on the web, all the most interesting things on the web and we came up with a list to help visitors, make the experience of Expo2015 much easier and funnier.

EXPO2015+100

Before you know it, Expo2015 will be history. What may seem commonplace or unimportant to us now might be profound to those in the future. Expo2015plus100 collects everyday items used during Expo2015 and works to make them timeless tokens that will become legacy within 100 years.

WOMEN'S WEEKS PLAYLIST

Expo2015, in collaboration with @WEWomenForExpo, launches the #WomensWeeks with a live marathon to transform Twitter into a jukebox all dedicated to women.

MOTION GRAPHICS

Colourful, dynamic and pop! These clips are the motion graphics made by Social Media Team to promote initiatives and events of Expo2015 on our social channels.

MOLDOR DIARY

It’s a diary, set in the world of MolDor (Molino Dorino, Expo2015 headquarters). These are side thoughts, pictures taken during a cigarette break or when meetings become too long and boring. A backstage, where the back is not a physical place rather in our minds.

WE EAT TOGETHER

#WeEatTogether is a photographic Call to Action on Instagram by WE-Women for Expo, Expo Milano 2015 project dedicated to women. The Call has been developed by the Expo 2015 Social Media team in collaboration with Instagramers Italia and third sector organisations involved in the Universal Exposition 2015, soon to open in Milan.

ARTS & FOODS

A focus on the plurality of the link between art and food, since 1851. Arts & Foods is the Expo2015’s Pavilion in the city of Milan, an exhibition curated by Germano Celant and held at La Triennale April 9 to November 1, 2015. Discover it on Twitter and Instagram @ArtsAndFoods

OPEN NIGHT WORLD @ La Triennale

Triennale of Milano, from 31 August to 30 September, extends summer with events of art, music, tasting food at Edison Open Garden, in the background of "Arts & Food. Rituali dal 1851", the only Pavilion of Expo2015 in city.

BIODIVERSITY PARK

8,500 sqm dedicated to agrobiodiversity. The Biodiversity Park is the thematic area of Expo2015 realized by BolognaFiere in the heart of the exhibition site, where you can live organic farming, innovative and sustainable, from farm to table. Discover it on Facebook and Twitter.

ASIAN TWEETS

China is one of the partecipants of Expo2015. The Social Media Team of Expo, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing, uses Twitter to communicate the main events about the Great Exposition to chinese visitors,, tweetting in chinese language.

BELVEDERE IN CITTÀ

It’s a 2.0 observatory on Expo2015’s construction site. Every week, a new video provides updates on the progress of works through a drone. A project co-designed with Tim4Expo.

SOCIAL MEDIA RALEY

The Social Media Team and Division Participants of Expo2015 dedicated a weekly raley to Civil Society, in order to communicate their values: we asked each Organization to tell in a week (on their social networks) their values, contents and aims of their presence at the Exposition.

MOST BELOVED ITALIAN PLACES

A communication project by FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano and Expo Milano 2015, a journey of pictures through Italian's most beloved places.

WONDERFUL EXPO

WELCOME TO ITALY

A trip through Italy’s wonders: over 200 images from historical Touring club archives for a project co-designed to promote the territory.

NOTTE BIANCA DEL CINEMA ITALIANO

The hashtag #nottebiancadelcinemaitaliano rises in Trend Topic Italia ranking of Twitter. The live marathon by night launched by Expo Milano 2015 in collaboration with Short Food Movie during the Rome Film Festival involved its followers with a Top 100 movies that sharped the cinema history.
